Stock & Delivery Info
When we say "in stock," we mean it's in our Leicestershire warehouse right now, ready to be packed and dispatched to you.
That might sound obvious, but it's not how most online furniture retailers work. Many use a model called "drop-shipping" - they list products on their website that they don't actually hold in stock. When you order, they pass your order to a third-party warehouse (often overseas), and the product ships directly from there. The retailer never sees or touches what they're selling you.
The problems with drop-shipping:
- Delivery dates are estimates, not commitments - delays are common and hard to chase
- The retailer can't check the product before it reaches you
- If something arrives damaged, you're caught between the retailer and their supplier
- "In stock" on their website often just means "the manufacturer says they have some"
- Some sites show items as in stock that are actually weeks or months away
How we do it differently:
Every product on our site is photographed in our own showroom at Sapcote Garden Centre using our own stock - not manufacturer images. When we show "(4 left)," that's four physical sets sitting in our warehouse right now. You're welcome to visit and see them in person before you buy - something no drop-shipper can offer.
We dispatch within 3 working days of your order. We pack it ourselves. We know it's in good condition before it leaves, because we've had our hands on it.

Enter your postcode at checkout to get a delivery quote for your area. For customers outside our local delivery range, we can arrange nationwide shipping through our sister site, Garden Centre Shopping, which includes delivery in the price.
We've been doing it this way for over 23 years. It costs us more than drop-shipping would, but it means we can actually stand behind what we sell - and you get what you ordered, when we said you'd get it.
