Terms and conditions for online orders
These terms apply when you buy something from this website (www.sapcotegc.co.uk) for delivery. Please read them before you order. By placing an order you agree to them. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
About us
Sapcote Garden Centre is owned and run by Sapcote Garden Centre Ltd, company number 05994722, Hinckley Road, Sapcote, Leicester LE9 4LG. You can reach us on 01455 274049 or [email protected]. In these terms “we”, “us” and “our” mean Sapcote Garden Centre Ltd, and “you” means the customer placing the order.
Ordering
- When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We will email you to confirm we have received it. A contract between us is formed when we dispatch your order.
- Before dispatch we may cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there was an obvious pricing or description error, or if we cannot deliver to your address. If that happens we will tell you and refund anything you have paid in full.
- Online orders are for delivery to mainland UK addresses only. Our Delivery Information page lists the areas we cannot deliver to.
Products
We describe our products as carefully as we can, but there may be slight variations in colour, shape and finish between individual items, and photographs are for guidance. Tree heights are approximate. If we need to supply a product that is slightly different from the one advertised we will tell you first and you can cancel for a full refund if you prefer.
Prices and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. Delivery is charged at a flat £10 per order and is shown in your basket and at checkout before you pay.
- Payment is taken in full when you order. Card payments are handled by Dojo on their secure payment page; your card details are entered there and are never seen or stored by us.
- We try hard to keep prices accurate. If we discover a mistake in the price of something you have ordered we will contact you and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.
Delivery
- We will deliver to the address you give us, so please check it carefully. We aim to deliver within 3 to 5 working days but delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. If there is a delay beyond our control we will let you know.
- If you ask us to leave your order somewhere without a signature, it is left at your own risk.
- Your order becomes your responsibility once it has been delivered to the address you gave or to a place you asked us to leave it. It becomes your property once we have received payment in full and delivered it.
Cancelling, returns and faulty goods
You can cancel an online order for any reason up to 14 days after you receive it, and faulty goods are covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Full details, including how to return something, are on our Returns & Refunds page.
Our responsibility to you
If we fail to comply with these terms we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

We only use your personal information to process your order and as described in our Privacy Policy.
This website
The text, photographs and other content on this website belong to Sapcote Garden Centre Ltd or our suppliers and may not be copied or used elsewhere without our written permission. We may change the website and these terms from time to time; the terms that apply to your order are the ones shown when you placed it.
General
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest still applies. If we do not insist on a right under these terms straight away, we can still do so later. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
