What large Christmas trees does Sapcote Garden Centre sell?
A 7.5ft or 8ft tree needs a ceiling of about 2.6m or more, so these suit older houses with tall rooms, double-height hallways and shops and offices. The range includes the Carrington Fir, Lawrence Fir and Newbury Spruce at 2.28m, the Kingswood Fir in green, snowy and pre-lit versions, and the Imperial Pine, Snowy Imperial Pine and Ridgemere at 2.4m.
Large trees come boxed in sections, so an 8ft tree still goes through a normal door and up a loft ladder. Allow 1.4m to 1.6m of floor space for a full-shaped tree, and expect to need 1,000 to 2,000 LEDs if you light it yourself.

What ceiling height do I need for an 8ft Christmas tree?
About 2.6m or more, which leaves room for a topper above a 2.4m tree. If your ceiling is a standard 2.3m to 2.4m, a 7ft tree is the better fit.
How many lights does an 8ft tree need?
1,000 to 1,500 LEDs for an evenly lit tree, 2,000 or more for a dense, cluster-lit look. Our pre-lit large trees save you the job.
Can a large artificial tree be delivered?
Yes. Even the 2.4m trees are delivered to mainland UK for the same flat £10; the box is big and heavy, so it helps if someone is in.
