What pre-lit Christmas trees does Sapcote Garden Centre sell?
Every tree here has its lights fitted by the maker, spaced evenly through the branches and wired in sections that plug together as you build the tree. Premier (the Arbour, Barneswood, New Jersey and the 3,950-LED Starry Spruce), National Tree Company (Kingswood Fir, Lawrence Fir, Newbury Spruce) and Everlands (Snowy Imperial Pine) all make pre-lit versions of their best trees, and the Snowy Kingswood and Snowy Dorchester come pre-lit with snow-tipped branches.
Choose warm white for a traditional tree, bright white for a snowy or modern scheme, or a colour-changing tree that switches between warm white and white, or cycles through colours, from a controller on the lead. The Light Colour filter shows which is which; sizes run from 80cm fibre-optic table-top trees to 2.28m (7.5ft).
Pre-lit Christmas trees: your questions answered
Are pre-lit Christmas trees worth the extra cost?
For a 6ft or taller tree, usually yes. The maker spaces the LEDs evenly through the tree, including deep in the branches, and the extra cost over the unlit version is close to what a good set of lights costs on its own, with nothing to untangle.
What colour are the lights on your pre-lit trees?
Most are warm white. Several switch between warm white and bright white (dual colour) and some cycle through colours; the settings are on a small controller on the lead. Use the Light Colour filter to compare them.
What happens if the lights on a pre-lit tree fail?
Pre-lit trees are wired in sections, so check each section connector first. A fault in the first 30 days is a straightforward exchange or refund, and the trees carry a manufacturer's guarantee after that, so keep your receipt.
Can I buy a pre-lit tree online for delivery?
Yes. Every pre-lit tree can be ordered online and delivered to mainland UK for a flat £10, normally within 3 to 5 working days, or bought in store at Sapcote Garden Centre and taken home the same day.
